Sacred Heart School has been an integral part of Highbridge since opening its doors in 1926. We have a rich 98-year history of educating Pre-K 4 through 8th grade students in the Bronx and fostering community inside and outside of our classrooms.
By reinforcing traditional values, implementing a research-based curriculum, and leveraging the power of our caring families and stakeholders, Sacred Heart holistically develops students who graduate with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to make a difference in the world.
On Nelson Avenue, our students learn and mature in a safe environment where their talents and gifts are uplifted. Each day from 7:50 am to 4 pm, our committed faculty dedicates themselves to our call to enrich our students’ mind, body and soul. With early drop off and after school options, students enter our building as early as 7:00 am and depart as late as 6:00 pm.
At Sacred Heart, we believe each child is a gift from God and we welcome students from all religious backgrounds. Our students don’t just do great—they do good. From halls to horizons, the promise we see in our graduating students each year gives us tremendous hope for their future and the future of the world.
It is important to find the right fit when looking for a school for your child, and we look forward to talking with you about how Sacred Heart can meet your child’s needs.
