I am eager to welcome you to Sacred Heart and to get to know your family.

At Sacred Heart, we believe each child is a gift from God.  We welcome students from all religious backgrounds. And we educate the whole child, mind, body, and spirit, so our students don’t just do great—they do good.

The best way to find out more is to reach out to us, about…

  • our academic curriculum and full-time, in-person learning
  • our graduates’ strong record of high school admissions and scholarships
  • our extended day, after-school program, and enrichment opportunities
  • our financial aid offered to every student

…or any other questions you have.  Click Find Out More to get in touch with us, or call our admissions team at 718.293.4288.

We believe each student can achieve at the highest levels, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our students learn the habits of heart and mind that enable them to excel at high school and beyond.  Our graduates attend high schools like Notre Dame, Xavier, Marymount, Convent of the Sacred Heart, Regis, Fordham Prep, University Heights Secondary School, and LaGuardia High School of the Arts.

All families at SHS receive a financial aid grant that covers a substantial portion of our cost-to-educate. Most families receive additional financial aid as well; with this aid, your parent contribution can be as low as $125 per month. For details, simply click here.

The extended academic day, running from 8 am to 4 pm, means that your student will have time for enrichment programs within the school day, and our after-school program is open to students in all grades and runs until 6 pm each day.  We offer a number of enrichment programs and are particularly proud of our student choirs, who are invited to perform regularly throughout the city.

It is important to find the right fit when looking for a school for your child, and we look forward to talking with you about how Sacred Heart can meet your child’s needs.

On behalf of all our teachers and families here at Sacred Heart School, welcome!
